This was one of the coldest and windiest projects we have ever encountered. 40 knot gusting winds and minus 5 degrees celsius.
This tested not only our stamina, but our operating procedures to ensure craft, batteries and our team stayed warm and functioning throughout.
As we were in New Zealand we adopted a bit of their Kiwi ingenuity to keep everything and everyone warm so that we were always ready to fly at a moments notice.
The outcome was pretty spectacular in a very spectacular part of the world.
